Today Pastor Ken Tilley teaches about the importance and origin of Communion. Passages are taken from Mark 14:12-16; 22-25 and Luke 22.
Today, Pastor Ken uses scripture to answer key questions about the importance of baptism. Most folk, believers and believers, have an unclear and errant understanding of baptism. Teaching from Romans 6:3-4, Ken helps us understand and appreciate the role of baptism in a believer’s life.
Today Pastor Ken examines the painful experience of shame. We often see ourselves as failures because of the accumulation of our mistakes, sins and shortcomings, and Satan works to shame us and trick us to believe we are worthless. Thankfully, Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to free us from condemnation and shame and to be in His wonderful kingdom. Be encouraged as Pastor Ken teaches us to move forward in our faith and be delivered from the shame which binds us. Text: Philippians 3:12-16
Today, Pastor Ken Tilley offers us the powerful antidote to anxiety described in Philippians 4:6-9 in the New Testament. Anxiety affects everything we do, and when the mind runs off with dark anxious thoughts, it affects our relationships with others as well as with God and brings unnecessary pain into our life. Be encouraged that, “Proper practice brings perfect peace.”
Depression affects all of us. Ten percent of those listening to today’s sermon are likely depressed…hopefully many will begin to have victory over that depression once applying the biblical principles Pastor Ken cites today. Pastor Ken shows how to rely of God to help us overcome the darkness caused by the untrustworthy feelings generated by our depressed minds. The scripture for today’s teaching is Psalm 42.
Today, the powerful 10-part James seres is concluded by Youth Pastor Nathan Neufang, and focuses on James 5:13-20. We are emphatically urged by God’s word to pray fervently, and to expect God to show us powerful results. You are encouraged to take action, praying and living your life in a manner which honors God and saves wandering souls from death.
Do we really understand the essence of patience? What does God’s word tell us about it? Pastor Ken teaches from James 5:7-12, about patience and its significance for the believer.
